  1. Lewis Debevec says:

I purchased a Kidde PE120 Smoke Detector on Saturday, February 13, 2010. It has a 5-year limited warranty beginning on 2008 May 30. I complained to Customer Service about the fact that I bought a new smoke detector almost two years old. I was told that in December 2009 the warranty has been increased to a ten-year limited warranty. I was also told that it applies to this smoke detector manufactured in 2008.
