The BRK (CO5120PDBN) has all new features, such as an electrochemical carbon monoxide sensor, a multi-function LCD digital display, an 85dB horn, 9V battery back-up, an End of Life alert and a silence feature. Intelligent Sensing Technology is designed to reduce those annoying and premature nuisance alarms. When the detector is interconnected in a series, the unit that triggered the alarm will store in memory or latch the information and begin to flash the LED indicator 2 seconds on, 2 seconds off. The front cover also has a single button test/silence button and also two locking features are provided to prevent battery theft and/or theft of the unit. Connection to AC power is made with a Quick-Connect wiring harness. Installation could not be any easier, quick, and cost effective.
